IMMAC group named “Investor of the Year 2020”
At this year’s ALTENHEIM EXPO 2020 SPEZIAL, the IMMAC group was awarded “Investor of the Year 2020”.
150 participants joined at the annual strategy congress for operators, planners and investors in the care industry, the Altenheim EXPO 2020 Spezial, which took place on October 20, 2020.
At the award ceremony, the IMMAC Group were delighted to win the prestigeous award of “Investor of the Year 2020”.
The jury consisting of the management team of the award partner TERRANUS, the editorial offices of “Altenheim”, “CAREkonkret” and “CARE Invest”, who nominated three companies per category. The nominees in the category “Investor of the Year” included IMMAC, HAMBURG TEAM Investment Management GmbH and AG Real Estate.
In her laudatory speech the speaker of the jury, Mrs. Anja Sakwe Nakonji, CEO of TERRANUS GmbH, honored in particular the long-standing market expertise of IMMAC:
„In the first half of 2020, IMMAC invested over €132 million in its healthcare division and acquired ten care facilities in Germany. In addition, further investments were made in Ireland and Austria. The jury’s decision was based not only on last year’s transactions, but also on IMMAC’s long-term commitment to the elderly care investment market. IMMAC has been investing in the asset class “senior real estate” for over 20 years. It is therefore one of the few investors who have already invested in this special real estate segment before it became a real asset class. For its commitment in the field of elderly care real estate, the jury honored IMMAC with the award „Investor of the Year“. (Source quote: CARE Invest)

We consider this award as a recognition of IMMAC’s longstanding and sustainable commitment to this special sub-market for real estate investments. It also confirms that IMMAC’s strategy in terms of product diversification, internationalization and consistent focus on sustainability of the investments, is increasingly recognized in the market and in particular by the specialized jurors,” Andreas Jantsch comments with pleasure.
